Regular tours happening most days. Well worth a visit to see the magical process behind some of the great the sour beers, also get a drink after the tour! Only a 10 minute walk from Moeder Lambic but get directions. A must visit in Brussels!

Unassuming from outside (difficult to find), really nice Belgian food (serve lunch till 2.30) and decent beer list (look out for the BIG glasses!) during day but at night they do live music/DJ and EVERYONE dances on tables, all ages and all types... it is great fun once you get into it. Also worth noting how, at night, the bar works with one person taking all orders and one other doing all drinks.

Started as one downstairs cafe with 2000 beers. Now they have a taphouse upstairs and 'hoppy loft' on upper level, as well as a whole street! The alley includes a rum bar (800 rums) and a tequila bar (500 tequilas) and generally ALOT of fun. Always busy, no matter what night you go, full of folk travelling and looking for a big night without hitting da club. Much more chilled during the day. Also features Jeanechin Pis, the female version of famous statue. Just a small alley and easily missed.

MOEDER LAMBIC http://www.moederlambic.com

A MUST, great beer list, especially the sour stuff, and a really nice bar. Relaxed atmosphere, good knowledgeable service and you may even see some similarities between here and sixºnorth. There are two of these bars in Brussels, the original (Chez Moeder Lambic) is smaller and recently renovated, bit of a nice spot for the cool kids of St Gilles.

À-LA-BÈCASSE https://www.alabecasse.comSmall, very old school bar and just off the Grand Place (look out for red neon sign). Get Lambicus Blanche and it comes in a clay jug.

A LA MORT SUBITE https://www.alamortsubite.com

Where Customer Relations man Phil was sick outside on his first trip away with the boss! Very grand looking inside (almost like an old theatre) and nice to sit and chill. Never seen this place quiet yet it remains relaxed. Name comes from an old game of dice played by employees from the nearby National Bank, the last round being named ‘Mort Subite’ (sudden death) as the loser paid for all the drinks.

BRUSSELS BEER PROJECT http://www.beerproject.beA modern Belgian brewery with their own bar. Great wee place and well worth a visit if you're in town.
